Security Risk Management
In the post-9/11 world, risk analysis and risk management have become essential tools in protecting the nation's population, assets, infrastructures, and businesses from terrorists, foreign adversaries, criminals, and natural disasters. Increasingly, "risk" is the preferred measure relied upon by decision makers to understand, prioritize, and fund protection and preparedness programs. For example, CENTRA conducted an interactive simulation in early 2003 for the Pacific Pension Institute, focusing on the economic and financial aftershocks of the then-upcoming war against Iraq.
